Xinhua report that the number is up from just above 6K confirmed cases of coronavirus yesterday
- 7711 confirmed cases
- 170 deaths
A little later we'll get Health Commission figures, these have tended to be a little different to the report by Xinhua earlier in the day. Still, this acceleration shown is very worrisome indeed.
