The rout in China was not on the mainland .... Taiwan shares were trashed, down more than 8.5% at one stage before a bounce.
- China's Shanghai Composite has closed +0.6%
- iron ore futures in Dalian hit another record high today (earlier in the week authorities had moved to slow the rise ... disreagded today)
- coal futures in Zhengzhou limit up (around 6%)
