Yesterday afternoon the Shanghai Composite had a strong rally, after an uneventful morning:
The talk was that authorities had relaxed on a crackdown on shadow margin trading accounts
- A crackdown on margin lending was a big factor in the plunge in the Market in past months
- An easing up on the restrictions returned some buyers to the market yesterday
- The Shanghai Comp rallied 200 points or so in the final hour on Wednesday
