Chinese equities close in negative territory and USDJPY continues to feel the heat

Not a good day for equities so far

• Shanghai Comp Index closed down 1.0% at 2976.69
• CS1300 Index down 1.5% at 3174.38

USDJPY continued its journey south and has posted new lows at 116.42 but currently on another rebound at 116.65 as we wait on European equity markets to react.

Eurostoxx 50 futures in negative territory as are key futures markets

Oil continues to look vulnerable too.
