Talk that the Bank of Korea will add to its gold reserves is helping limit losses in the yellow metal today despite the generally stronger greenback. Oil is holding reasonably firm, trading at 81.50 after a slide on Friday.
EUR/USD is in consolidation modes in the 1.3900/10 area while AUD is out-performing on the day after laissez-faire comments from Treasurer Swan over the weekend on AUD strength. AUD has recovered to 0.9980 from near 0.9800 overnight.
