Commodity shares have lead the way today as Asian stockmarkets put on good gains. ASX200 +1.3%, Nikkei +0.8%, Kospi +1.0%.
Amonst the gainers in Sydney, BHP+2.6%, RIO+4.5%. In Tokyo, Nippon Steel+3.5% and in China ,Zijin Mining Group +6%.
The action in commodity markets seems to suggest that the economic slowdown maybe coming to an end.
