That's a scandalous move

It's almost treasonous to be working against your Prime Minister at any time but to be doing it while in the same political party is remarkable. It speaks to the disconnect and backstabbing in UK politics at the moment.

The Telegraph reports that MPs Craig Mackinlay, Daniel Kawczynski and Owen Paterson have led talks to persuade European leaders to block an Article 50 extension at this week's summit.

As I have been warning for a couple weeks, it only takes one of the 27 EU members to block an extension. The MPs hope that denying it will force the UK into accepting May's deal or leaving without a deal.

This story is just breaking now and could put some downward pressure on the euro.
