Construction spending in the US fell 0.6% in November versus expectations for a 1.3% decline. October data was revised higher, from an initial reported fall of 1.2% to a final 0.4% decline.
Residential construction was the lowest since 1999. Hopefully that will allow some of the excess inventory to be absorbed.
