The latest comment from Jeremy Corbyn is this:

"We need a general election to break the deadlock. And if that can't be achieved, and we can't get agreement in Parliament along the lines of our alternative plan, we will back the option of a public vote.

Importantly, he seems to have dropped his prior conditions that he would only support a referendum on a "bad Tory deal or a no-deal Brexit."
