Comments from Corbyn's spokesman

  • Corbyn called on other opposition leaders in talks on Tuesday to help find a parliamentary majority for a close economic relationship post-Brexit
  • Discussed efforts with other opposition leaders to ensure May's deal would be put to a public vote if she is able to get it approved in parliament

My theory is that Corbyn's strategy is to appear to support another vote while angling to allow her to pass another deal. He doesn't want to govern in a situation where the Brexit debate is still alive but he wants to appeal to pro-EU voters in the next election and he wants to cripple the Conservatives.
