The BOJ press conference is under way but as usual the comments will be embargoed for release later, usually by 08.00 GMT
Main data event today will be UK inflation at 09.30 GMT with German ZEW following that at 10.00 and the NY Empire State Manufacturing Index at 13.30
With markets still in jittery mode and with the US back into the fray later I reckon we should see a lively session
