So the FOMC Minutes get leaked and the timing of interest rate hikes gets pushed back. No surprises there for me as per the many comments I've made here over the past few months
Last Ashes cricket Test today and we Poms will be hoping for a record-breaking 4th win in a home series. Bidding farewell to Aussie skipper Michael Clarke so let's hope he can bow out with a decent knock at least.
Data wise we don't have the BOJ press conf as listed as the BOJ meeting didn't take place (never scheduled, as Eamonn rightly pointed out) but there's no loss there anyhow given its usual delivery of the same ol' claptrap
More importantly we have Fed's Williams speaking, German PPI, and UK retail sales with US weekly jobless, existing home sales and Philly Fed Index later
All in all, with a bit of FOMC fallout, enough to keep things ticking over nicely
