Greetings one and all

I trust you all had a great week-end and are suitably refreshed for another week of fun n games as the meltdown continues

In the UK attention has been focussed on the air show tragedy in which a Hawker Hunter jet crashed onto a busy road and claimed 11 lives so far. Our thoughts go out to all those affected by this awful incident

Market wise we can expect some European equity markets follow-through/catch up from the late-US and Chinese sessions. Data wise it's a very thin day but the focus remains on the equity market/China fall-out

As always I wish you a good session

PS Congrats to the Aussies on an emphatic win at the Oval but a little too late in what has been a compelling, but at times quite bizarre, series that has seen England reclaim the Ashes
