Dollar index is back below 89.00 again as the greenback continues to be offered
The dollar selling continued from where it left off before Trump's comments yesterday, and it is the weakest currency on the major bloc today. The momentum trade is one that is hard to shrug off at this point, and it's a bold call to try and fight it.
Things started early in the day as Asian traders retraced some of the dollar gains overnight, but just an hour before European trading kicked in, the selling began and up until now dollar bears haven't looked back.
If there are no surprises from Davos a la Trump again, you get the feeling the market will be more emboldened to take the dollar selling to the next level.
