There’s chatter doing the rounds of a quarantine at Barcelona’s airport because 6 people have been confirmed with ebola.
Eurostoxx are falling on the rumor but it doesn’t make any sense. Some people there might have symptoms but it takes time to ‘confirm’ a test.
This kind of market is extremely prone to rumors.
Update: I was roasting the guy who spread the rumor but I’m going to cut him some slack because it’s a crazy market and it sounds like he got the rumor from an MNI reporter. Anyone in this game long enough can accidentally spread a rumor and it doesn’t sound like he did it to profit.
