FRANKFURT (MNI) – The program that the Greek government is
implementing to regain control of its finances will not be easy, but it
can be implemented, European Central Bank Vice President Vitor
Constancio said on Friday.
“It is difficult, it is demanding, but it is possible,” Constancio
said at the ECB Watchers conference here.
“The markets may have a different view,” he acknowledged. But, “as
we have seen, the markets aren’t always right.”
