A preview of the calendar in European trading later

Howdy, everyone! Hope you're all having a good day so far. It's been a quiet start to the trading day, as major currencies are mostly in a lull with little major moves of note. Equities continued to perform well on the back of improved risk sentiment as the trade wars rhetoric subsides - at least for now.

Here's what is coming up in European trading later:

0600 GMT - Germany February import price index data

Prior figures can be found here. Mirrors that of PPI figures, not an important data point as it is lagging.

0700 GMT - Spain March preliminary CPI figures

Prior figures can be found here. A minor data point, but one that feeds into overall Eurozone inflation sentiment.

0800 GMT - Eurozone February M3 money supply data

Prior report can be found here. Not a significant data point by any means, broad money indicator.

0800 GMT - Italy March business, consumer confidence

Prior release can be found here. A general sentiment indicator of one of the Eurozone's larger economies. Nothing too major with the Eurozone figure coming up later.

0900 GMT - Eurozone March consumer, business, economic confidence

Preliminary figures for consumer confidence can be found here. Prior release can be found here. Minor data points, not expected to be market movers by any means.

That's about it in terms of data but apart from that we have ECB's Vasiliauskas speaking at 0700 GMT - no details on that so far. Then, we'll have ECB's Nowotny presenting the Austrian central bank's annual report at 0900 GMT.

That's all for the European session. I wish you all a great day ahead and as always, good luck with your trading!
