A preview of what's to come in European trading later

Howdy, everyone! Hope you're all having a great day so far and to those just joining, a very good morning!

It's been a quiet one so far in Asia with little significant moves of note. The takeaway has been that markets appear to have put behind them the trade tensions from yesterday and it's all sunshines and ponies again.

Here's what is on the calendar in Europe later:

0600 GMT - Germany February factory orders data

Prior reading can be found here. A minor data point, estimate is for a further slowdown though the reading can be a bit volatile at times.

0715 GMT - Switzerland March CPI data

Prior report can be found here. Again, not the most significant of data points. The SNB's forecasts of inflation matter more to the swissie.

0715 GMT - Spain March services & composite PMI

0745 GMT - Italy March services & composite PMI

0750 GMT - France March final services & composite PMI

0755 GMT - Germany March final services & composite PMI

0800 GMT - Eurozone March final services & composite PMI

Another slew of PMI data coming out from the Eurozone. The France, Germany, and Eurozone readings are final readings - so similar to the manufacturing ones from two days ago they're not expected to produce much of a reaction.

0830 GMT - UK March services & composite PMI

Prior reading can be found here. The key data point of the session, expectation is for a 54.0 reading - a slowdown compared to the prior report. The services sector is the key contributor to the UK economy, so expect a bit of a reaction depending on how much the data misses/beats.

0900 GMT - Eurozone February retail sales data

0900 GMT - Eurozone February PPI data

Prior readings can be found here and here respectively. Both are minor data points, not market movers by any means. Retail sales data provides a general sentiment of the consumer in the Eurozone while the PPI figures are a rough gauge of inflation, those this reading is a lagging one.

That's all for the session, I wish you all a great day ahead and as always good luck with your trading!
