What's coming up on the economic calendar today
Good day, everyone! How're you all doing today?
Well, we had the RBA rate decision earlier this morning where they kept rates unchanged for a record 15th straight meeting. ICYMI, the headlines can be found here and the full text of the statement can be found here.
Anyway, coming up in Europe we're going to have a slew of PMIs (again) from the Eurozone.
First up, there's Spain Oct industrial production at 0800 GMT followed by Spain Nov services PMI at 0815 GMT. We'll then be moving onto Italy Nov services PMI due at 0845 GMT.
Next, we're going to have the major ones with France Nov services and composite PMI due at 0850 GMT. To follow that up, we have Germany Nov services and composite PMI at 0855 GMT.
Then, at the top of the hour at 0900 GMT we'll have Eurozone Nov services and composite PMI.
The big one on the agenda today though is UK Nov services PMI - and that's due at 0930 GMT. If anything else, this is the one you would want to keep your eyes open for.
And to round things off, we're going to have Eurozone Oct retail sales data out at 1000 GMT.
Not to forget, we're also likely going to hear more on Brexit talks during the day/week. So, be mindful of that if you're a sterling trader at the moment.
That's about it for now. I wish you good luck in your trading for the rest of the day.
