The Associated Press reports, citing unnamed Egyptian sources, that Egypt and Saudi Arabia are planning to lead a ground operation into Yemen.
Oil prices have grinded lower to $50.43 from as high as $52.50 as the market grapples with the turmoil in Yemen.
The Guardian reports that Pakistani troops may be part of the force. The rare show of alliances in the Middle East may actually be a good thing for stability in the region, which would be negative for oil.
