US equities have lost about half their earlier gains and are now up just under a half of a percent while oil has eased about a dollar from its highs.
EUR/USD is a shade lower in its afternoon consolidation range, dipping to the 1.4420 area. Protection of 1.4450 barriers is capping the topside near-term.
