AUD/USD and AUD/JPY are leading the pack this afternoon as US equities rally roughly half-a-percent. AUD trades at 0.9135 session highs while USD/JPY is bouncing as well, now at 89.95.
EUR/USD and Cable are lagging as AUD leads the way amid talk earlier in the day of heavy US real-money buying.
EUR/USD trades at 1.3578, GBP/USD at 1.4985. Commodities are bouncing too. Gold is up $13 from morning lows, now at $1123. Oil is flat after losing more than a dollar early in the day.
