And the pound jumps on the headline here, with cable up to a high of 1.2788 after tracking lows near 1.2725 earlier.
This isn't exactly good news for May but it is good news for the pound as it means that Britain could cancel Brexit without asking permission from other countries (hence, unilateral). The official ruling by the ECJ will come in the following days but the simple thought here is that any chance of no Brexit = good news for the pound.
