EU official talking down importance of Euro group meeting this week

There won’t be any huge event when the Eurogroup of finance ministers gathers in Cyprus this week, an EU official tells Bloomberg.

Last week, Goldman Sachs speculated that Spain may seek aid at that conference which takes place Thursday and Friday.

the EU official said The Greek Troika report should come in October and that the Troika mission to Portugal should end this week.

France’s FinMin will visit Greece on Thursday while he’s in the neighborhood.
