BRUSSELS (MNI) – A report in the Spanish press saying that the
European Commission believed Spain should seek help from the European
Financial Stability Facility is “completely unfounded,” EU Economics and
Monetary Affairs Commissioner Olli Rehn said on Tuesday.
“It is not the Commission’s position,” Rehn told journalists after
a hearing at the European Parliament in Brussels.
