Both sides can talk up hopes of a deal but this here remains the real problem at hand. If either side does not give in and the UK isn't able to present a viable solution to the Irish border, then it's not looking likely that negotiations will progressively move forward.
Tick tock, tick tock. Still doesn't look like they're too pressed with timing though.
