Euro recovers most of the post-ECB losses

The euro touched the lowest level since the day of the Brexit shortly after the open today but it's slowly climbed back and hit some stops in a rally above the European high of 1.0997. Still, it hasn't been able to get through 1.1000 and has slipped back to 1.0992.

Overall, euro volatility is ebbing but there's a solid downtrend in place since the middle of the month. That's largely a result of a broadly stronger US dollar than anything that's going on in Europe at the moment.
