The euro is the best performing currency on the day so far
However, the move isn't really a large or significant one to be fair. But the market has been relatively quiet and indecisive today for the most part today. Other currencies are basically flat at the moment against the dollar with the exception of the yen and euro.
But USD/JPY has only been trading in a 22 pips range, with the yen getting a bit of support as US yields are slipping a little on the day.
The euro meanwhile continues to play ping pong with the market positioning itself ahead of the ECB meeting later. The notable turnaround is cable as sterling was the weakest performing major currency when it fell to 1.3895 before finding bids just under 1.3900 to come back up to 1.3933 on the day.
