The theme in Brexit trading today has been a constant downplaying of optimism of a deal being reached. And this only adds to that. While other currencies have managed to gain against the dollar and the yen today, the pound is barely rising above that and the repeated comments that are weighing on optimism is one of the main reasons for that.
