European equities open softer on the day

European equity markets are down in early trading at the open - 15 Dec 2017

• FTSE -0.1%
• CAC 40 -0.4%
• FTSE MIB -0.5%
• IBEX -0.2%

This follows a similar tune in Asia again as I reiterate, where the Nikkei, CSI 300, Shanghai Composite, and even Australia's ASX 200 closed lower today. The Hang Seng index is also down by 1.03% on the day.

This of course follows yesterday's sentiment from US stocks - as the S&P500, Dow Jones, and Nasdaq all closed lower as well.
