- German Dax fell -0.2%
- France's CAC rose 0.2%
- UK's FTSE fell -0.2%
- Spain's Ibex rose 0.4%
- Italy's FTSE MIB fell -0.31%
- Portugal PSI20 fell -0.18%
In the 10 year benchmark debt sector, yields are higher:
The CAD has overtaken the CHF as the strongest currency of the day. There is some positive comments and hope for a NAFTA deal.
The JPY is the weakest currency of the majors. The USD is lower vs the CHF and CAD but higher vs the others. It has it's largest gains vs the JPY.
US stocks are higher and trading at the highest levels of the day. The:
- S&P up 8 points or 0.28% at 2885.20
- Nasdaq is up 33 points or 0.42% at 7858.99
- Dow is up 107 points or 0.42% at 25967.
