The rip-roaring FTSE goes out the door to the pub as fast as it’s legs will carry it up 0.6% while the French start snogging in the cafe’s of Paris +0.6% also.
Ze Germans nod politely to each other and the smell of freshly washed beach towels and burning rubber from the autobahns comes wafting through as they finish +1.0%.
The Italians were no doubt packed up about 4 hours ago and the Peroni’s & Birra Moretti’s should be suitably chilled enough to toast the 0.4% gains.
The Spanish will be all stuck up to the eyeballs in paper mache as they put the final touches on the Easter celebrations and finish up 0.2%
