One for one...in holiday trading
The US and London markets are closed for the day, but continental European stocks toasted the NY year with some nice gains:
- German Dax was up 1.02%
- France CAC was up 0.41%
- Italy FTSE MIB was up 1.73%
- Spain's Ibex was up 0.71%
- Euro Stoxx index was up 0.55%
The European bond yields were mostly lower:
- Germany 0.189% -1.9BP
- France 0.670%, -1.6 BP
- Italy 1.743%, -7.3 BP
- Portugal 3.705%, -5.9 BP
- Spain 1.332%, -5.2 BP
- Greeece 7.128%, +2.1 BP
