German Dax up 0.3%. France's CAC up 0.4%
The major European indices are ending the day mostly higher. The UK FTSE was neither up nor down but flat on the day.

- Spain's Ibex rose 0.8%
- Italy's FTSE MIB rose 2.3%
- Portugal PSI20 rose 0.88%
In the European 10 year debt sector, yields were mixed
In other markets as the London/European trading day comes to a close is showing:
- Spot gold up $0.57 at $1196.93. The low reached $1191.39. The high $1198.65
- WTI crude oil is up $0.30 or 0.46% at $68.05
US stocks are mixed now and lower than opening levels:
- Dow is down -4 points or down -0.03%
- S&P is up 8 points or up 0.3%
- Nasdaq is up 19 points or 0.24%
US yields are mixed but little changed. The 2 year is up marginally, the 10 year is down marginally (0.4 bps for each), but the 2-10 spread is down -0.8 bps.
The GBP is the strongest currency as it ran higher on more positive comments from EUs Barnier on the prospects of a Brexit agreement. The CHF remains the weakest currency of the majors. The USD is mixed with a tilt to the downside on the back of weakness in the greenback vs the EUR and the GBP. The USDJPY is higher but has found resistance at the 111.16-19 area.
