European equity futures looking rather flat
It's still early in the session but from the look of things, the same flat tones from yesterday's trading are carrying over to today too. And it's surely not helped by the fact that US equity futures are also displaying a similar mood.
Meanwhile, in Asian trading the Nikkei closed 0.85% higher at 22,601.77 - near the highs for the day. This comes as Chinese stocks made a turnaround after the lunch break to erase earlier losses to trade higher. The Shanghai Composite is now up 0.5%.
