Mixed tones in early trades but sentiment remains rather muted

UK stock futures are leading losses as the pound regains some poise but risk sentiment remains rather directionless as we begin the morning in Europe. Asian equities are ending the day near flat levels while US equity futures are also trading in a subdued manner, down by 0.1% so far today.
That isn't really lending much help to risk assets and currencies. USD/JPY sits near flat levels currently at 110.77 with Treasury yields holding a little lower; but yields are softer across the globe so it isn't weighing on the pair all too much for now.
