Softer tones in early trades

- French CAC 40 futures -0.4%
- UK FTSE futures -0.8%
The extended declines here are mostly keeping in tune with the overnight performance. European equities ended the trading day before some heavier losses were sustained by US equities so this is a bit of catch up play to that.
Either way, risk sentiment isn't looking too bright as we begin the day anyway. E-minis are still flat on the day currently and Chinese equities closed the day near the lows, with the Shanghai Composite falling 0.8%.
