Eurostat cuts inflation

Eurozone inflation excluding food and energy was revised down to +0.7% from +0.8% after the German correction. It was expected at +0.8% after a +1.0% reading in March.

The overall estimate of -0.2% hasn't been revised, at least not yet. The lower inflation number could also mean a tick higher in the GDP estimate, which was at +0.6% q/q compared to +0.4% exp.
