Latest data release by Eurostat - 28 June 2018

- Economic confidence 112.3 vs 112.0 expected
- Business climate indicator 1.39 vs 1.40 expected
- Industrial confidence 6.9 vs 6.5 expected
- Services confidence 14.4 vs 14.1 expected
Confidence levels beat expectations a little, but economic confidence continues to fall relative to the 112.5 reading seen in May. Revisions see the industrial and services reading come in flat so there's nothing much there but the continued fall in economic sentiment isn't really a good sign of Eurozone sentiment.
While the data itself isn't a major one, more of the same across multiple data tends to point towards a trend and this will eventually feed into Eurozone growth as it does play a part in impacting investor sentiment.
