Plenty of support on the short-term charts right around 1.2440 and that level was strengthened with the bounce after Merkel’s “over my dead body” comment.
Expect stops to build below that level, around 1.2430.
European bond yields continue to rise, led by Spain. Spanish debt is closing on its lows of the day, up 24 bp in yield on the day at 6.88%.
