Barnier Brexit comments
- No Brexit deal if no agreement on Irish border
- Must avoid UK undercutting EU in financial services
The EU doesn't want a Brexit deal and the Irish border problem is a complete quagmire with no easy answers. I can't imagine there will be a final deal by October and I can't see a way around the Irish border problem.
In any case, this is all nothing new for GBP.
