EU budget commissioner Gunther Oettinger comments in Brussels
There wasn't much context to his comments there about the exchange rate. Oettinger just commented that he was concerned about overall markets in the world and that the exchange rate gives him a cause of concern along with "clouds on the horizon".
If he's worried about the euro rising to dampen inflation then he should just talk about Italy instead.
