Its been a fairly orderly start to the week, with the USD marginally firmer compared to where Europe left off Friday. EUR/USD sits at 1.2635 from around 1.2655, while cable is down at 1.4070 from around 1.4105.

09:30 GMT: Euro-zone sentix confidence (March)
12:30 GMT: ECB’s Trichet to hold press conference following the bi-monthly Global Economy meeting at the BIS in Basle.
We’ve just had the Bank of France industry buiness sentiment index (Feb) come out at 70, unchanged from January. Bank of France survey sees Q-1 GDP at -0.6% q/q, unchanged from previous forecast.
