Federal Reserve to conduct survey

Bloomberg reports that the Fed has sent out a survey to about 2300 finance firms as it tries to get a better understanding of the credit market.

The survey aims to collect balance sheet data on household and business credit. They also want to know the source of funds for businesses.

There's no word on when the results will be released. If there's any signal, it's that the Fed is worried that pockets of the lending market might be getting a bit sloppy.
