FHFA House price index up 0.6% vs +0.5% estimate

March FHFA house price index MoM

The FHFA house price index for the month of March increased by 0.6% vs 0.5% estimate. In February, the prices increased by 0.8%.

All the regions showed price advances in the current month with the East South Central region (+1.8%), the New England area (+1.7%) and Mountain (+1.3%) leading the way. The laggards (but still advancing) was the South Atlantic (+0.1%) and West North Central (+0.4%)..
