There was a bit of USD strength nearly across the board here in Asia today. Overnight trade had seen USD/CHF testing 0.9650 and that broker here in Asia. there was not specific news her on the Chf there rarely is.
USD/JPY sellers (Japanese exporters) were tested ahead of 113.00, just above 112.95 holding for the day here and USD/JPY is off a few points from there.
USD strength was on display elsewhere also, EUR and GBP both a little lower along side CAD, AUD and NZD too.
On the news and data front it was a quiet session. We did get BOJ minutes, but not much in there that wasn't known or guessed at really.
