Most of the majors are exactly where we opened yesterday morning with the exceptions of the GBP and CAD which have lost about 50 pips each against the USD. The volatility caused by the death of Osama Bin Laden has settled down and will have no effect on the market. Metal price movements are much moe likely to sway sentiment and USD bulls will be hoping that a change in fortunes is around the corner.
Both AUD/USD and EUR/USD have breached important barriers, at 1.1000 and 1.4900 respectively, over the last 24 hours but there’s been no follow through thus far.
