The market has now had the entire weekend to digest the stress test results and most traders seem to be generally under-whelmed. Not many people believe that the only banks in Europe which face potential problems are 7 relatively small regional institutions.
EUR/USD is trading at 1.2880 in early interbank trade, down from a NY close at 1.2915. Cable is at 1.5405, and USD/JPY is at 87.70.
