A latest Yougov poll on EU membership has a near 50/50 split among French people. The poll run between October 28th and November 4th shows that if a referendum was put to the French 33% would vote to leave Europe while 34% would vote to stay. The poll also suggests that feelings of disapproval were seen before the downgrade and on disappointment in the government and economic pessimism.
