In an interview with Telegraph TV the former Conservative Chancellor of the Exchequer Kenneth Clarke has warned that the British economy is headed for a “catastrophic crisis” that will be “far worse than anything that has occurred in my lifetime.” Given dear old Ken is 68, that’s a fair old time.
